O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.  Psalm 34:3

Another new day given as a precious gift from the Lord thy God.  Let us gather hearts and hands to give glory, honor and praise to our Father in Heaven for His blessings of provision, grace, merciful kindness and compassion.

When I woke up in the early morning hour of 6:00 am, on my tongue were praises that my heart sang to the Lord from, in and through my spirit to give thanks to Him for awakening me to another day of life for His glory.

On and in this day, I am believing and trusting God for His faithfulness.  I am so grateful to God for His promises, His strength, His power, His blessings bestowed upon me continually and for the Light that shines in my life.

On this day, I pledge to help my Sisters, who may be in need of guidance, direction or some form of help in whatever area of life they may be in need of.

Sisters, Jesus said abide in Him as He abides in us; keep His commandments to love one another and in that love you will find help, understanding, peace and an abundance of all that you need to live a happy life!

Blessings!

Jesus is my Everything!

Looking Good from the Heart

My daughter graduated from college in Washington, D.C. last weekend.  I had my hair in beautiful curls, but because it rain (the graduation was held outside), my curls fell and I pulled it back in a ponytail.  I didn't wear any makeup because I never wear makeup, but maybe I should have for this very special occasion and I say this only because my cousin just informed me that I looked so bad, that she didn't even recognize me.  What she didn't know when she first saw my picture that I had spent the evening in the E.R. the night before my daughter's graduation because I had gotten ammonia in both eyes as I was spring cleaning.  The chemical reaction was horrible and affected my eyes terribly.  My eyes were burning violently and my eyes felt like they had foreign objects and trash in them which is a result from the ammonia.  I didn't want to wear a foundation or anything that would make my eyes burn more or cause them to react to the makeup.

My cousin said she could not believe my hair and I wore no makeup, but what I think she fails to realize is that what's in my heart is what really matters to God; not how beautiful or ugly I look.  My feelings were crushed to say the least, but my children reassured me that I should not worry about the things people say about me and they are right, but they are my children and they think I look beautiful no matter how badly I make look on the outside.

I know that God loves me, my husband loves me and my children love me and that's all that matters.  I hope this post will be a blessing to a sister who may be feeling the same way that I felt for a short lived period of time.

All praises to God.

Be blessed Sisters!

The Tomb

At the door of the sepulchre
I kneeled down to pray
On the other side of the stone
Is where my Savior lay.

Sleeping peacefully in the tomb
To rest His stripes and open wounds
I longed to enter this Spirit-filled room.

Patiently I waited for the stone to roll away
But sleep encompassed me
On that Third day
Falling upon me in a comatose way.

As silence melted into the land
Quietly I lay in the Master's hand.

When I was awakened
To the dawn of the day
The door of the sepulchre
Had been rolled away.

Two angels graced my presence
They took me by the hand
And led me into the tomb
To witness the glory
Of the Father's Plan.

A sweet odor of spices
Filled this empty room
And a fine linen napkin
Lay in the sepulchre
In the stillness of the tomb.

At that very moment
I knew I had been given
A new Spirit-filled life
By the rising of the Son
Jesus Christ.

Ten Principles to Live By

1. OBEY GOD

When we obey God we are exercising our faith in god's ability to do what He has promised. Essentially we are telling Him, "Lord I am obeying You because I know it brings glory and honor to You." Obedience does not mean you will escape suffering. Many times it actually may lead to difficulty and pressure from those around you. However, God takes notice of your obedience, and He will bless and honor all that you do.

2. PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD
3. WAIT ON GOD
4. GIVE TO GOD'S WORK
5. YOU CANNOT LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE ON YOUR OWN
6. ACCEPT THE TRUTH THAT GOD LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY
7. GOD IS IN CONTROL
8. DEPEND COMPLETELY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT
9. MEDITATION ON THE WORD NEEDS TO BE A PRIORITY
10. THE WORD OF GOD WILL TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE
Warming a spirit, touching a soul and blessing a life by sharing the Word of God with our Sisters in Christ and bringing those who do not know Jesus to the Cross. Glory be to God.

Let Your Light Shine

Sisters in Christ Jesus, let your light shine into the world. Let it be the light to bless all the sisters you interact with today. Let your light illuminate the path and the foundation for all those around you and remember as you bless your sisters, remember to give God glory, honor and praise for His goodness and merciful kindness for He is truly worthy to be praised!
Sisters Blessing Sisters is here to help you to find your path, your avenue to whatever it is you may be in search.

Looking back over my life the past 10 years, I realize that I have been through so much that I could really write a book.  Perhaps it could touch a life or bless someone who may be in the midst of enduring a trial or a tribulation.

When I lost my father almost ten years, I truly lost a part of my heart.  He was a man of great depth and love.  Not long after my father passed away, I lost my job as program coordinator at a local hospital.  I really enjoyed that job because it was different from any other job I ever had.  It was challenging in terms of the work itself and the people; the people, I do believe, were more of a challenge than my daily duties.  This path was lonely because no one seemed to understand what I was going through or they simply chose to close their ears to my voice.  I had to endure this torment for the lesson that had been planned for me to learn and I learned a lot for which I am truly and highly grateful.

There was an older lady that I worked with who just refused to train me for my position when I got the promotion.  This woman was not a creation of the Lord.  This lady did things that Ithink the enemy could not even dream of doing.  There's not an adjective to describe this lady and unfortunately for me. I was forced to deal with her for eleven years.  I remember my skin breaking out horribly because of the stress that I was under and I've always had beautiful skin. This lady had no conscience because she was not human.  I lived a nightmare in that department for what seemed like an eternity.  Every single solitary time I asked this lady for help in terms of doing my job, she would say, "learn on your own".  The people who worked at the hospital were afraid of her because she really was a monster.  She was the worse person I have ever met in my entire life.  I could write this entire post about the horrific things that she did to people, but this post is about all the things that I have endured through God's grace, His merciful kindness and the path I have taken to the place where I am now.

After this lady retired, I got a promotion; her job.  Short lived that's for sure.  Another lady came in; she had an M.D. behind her name, was super hungry for power and got rid of me and my boss not long after she had stepped foot in the office door.  You know the story; new regime gets ready of the old regime.  However, I was relieved and elated, at the same time, to be out of that unhealthy environment.  I was at home with my family and I loved it.

I had an idea as to what I wanted to do with my life, but I wasn't exactly sure.  I was an outstanding typist and transcriptionist and thought about starting a home business typing and that's what I've done, but I've always longed to do something greater than this for the Lord, my family and for other people.

I started Sisters Blessing Sisters to enlighten the lives of my sisters in Christ Jesus.  Unfortunately, this has not moved to the level that I had hoped.  Most people are out to find how they can improve their own lives financially and any other way they deem necessary, but my heart wants to bless those women who are looking to enhance and improve their lives.  I've started Helping Moms Make Ends Meet and now, Girlfriends Glorifying God.  God is great and I want to do great things for Him; to honor Him.  It took me years to understand and realize that the path and the journey in my life is the path that God has devised for me and not me myself and that doing His will, regardless of what His will is all that matters in my life.  I could type and transcribe all day long, and make great money doing it, but if it is not God's will for my life, it is all in vain.

I sure hope you'll join me on this journey, this mission that I am undertaking.  It is larger than life and I hope you'll say yes sisters.

I then began to embark on a whole new world and we all know that there is an enormous world out there which is to say that anyone can do anything they want to do using the talents and gifts given to them by God the Father.

Blessed

She walked out from the table of my heart
To edify my spirit,
Her wisdom and strength she impart
A being that looks deep into my soul
She enlightens and educates
To help make me whole.
Amazingly she sweetens the joy in my life
Through our Source of Hope
Jesus the Christ
Together we walk to conquer the world
A journey so blessed
We're God's precious pearls.
Thank you my sister for blessing me
For sealing God's Word
And forever and a day
Believing in me.
She is my sister; if she needs my help, I open my heart.

It shined upon me, His grace and everlasting mercy.
It rained down on me, His blessings that have forever changed my life.
The windows of His Kingdom opened and I opened my heart to receive the words He has written on the table of my heart, the special place where Christ reigns.
His Sonshine warms my soul.
I have been cleansed by the precious blood of the Lamb.
I have peace where worry once lived and I have joy and sorrow no longer embraces me.

Friend

I have a very dear and close friend that died quite a few years ago.  He and I were, I guess you could say, were like sister and brother that's how close we were.  We shared so many things between us and we loved each other deeply and sincerely.  I confided in him about things in my life that I could not trust or dare to tell or share with anyone else; just him.  He was never ever too busy for me.  If I had a problem, and believe me, I have had many many major problems in my life, he was always right there to give me the absolute best advice a friend could give to another friend.  I love him so much.  He had a bevy of beautiful and unique qualities that no one else that I knew could compare or even came close to possessing.  He was wonderful, amazing, awesome, brilliant in so many ways, patient, kind, loving, caring, generous, always giving, majestic, beautiful inside and out and he was so sweet and I truly adored everything about him.  He was special and his heart was filled with pure love.  His mother and Father were amazing and so I was not surprised to see that he was the product of his parents;  gentle, kind and loving.

There were times when I didn't know how I was going to make ends meet from one day to the next, but because of his generous sweet spirit, I never had to fear or worry.  When he gave me money, he gave it from his heart and he always told me that I didn't have to pay it back.  He had so much to give; he seemed to have an endless supply of anything that I needed; advice, love, compassion.  He was the kind of friend everyone, men, women and children need to have in their lives.  I think about all that my friend has done for me and I marvel at his goodness.

When I think about how my friend died, I have to thank him because he literally died for me.  Every time I think of him suffering the way that he did I have to thank him.

One day as I was praying, I heard a lot of noise outside my living room window.  I saw these men torturing my friend as the blood trickled down his face.  My body became weak and numb as he gave no resistance to these men who had my friend in such a tight grip.

I ran outside to help him; to loose him from their snares, but he told me that there was nothing I could do.  He told me how much he loved me and that he promised that he would be okay and he would see me again real soon. He then told me to go back in the house and finish praying as he knew I had always done three times a day at the same time everyday.  Though I didn't understand what he meant at that moment, I trusted his words as I looked into his beautiful and amazing brown eyes which spoke nothing but, trust my heart; and I have trusted him ever since the day he came into my life because he was always a man of his word, true to his word.  He had delivered me from many things that were going on in my life; he saved me from those who were trying to hurt me because they hated me because of my relationship with him so it was not hard for me to trust him because he was so trustworthy and so good to me in ways that were too many to count.

As I walked back into the house I cried and cried tears of sorrow as my heart slowly began to break as they took my friend away.  I did not follow him because he told me not to; he was such a dear and close friend, I wanted to honor his request and took heed to his very word. When I entered the closet I fell to my knees, now praying for my dear sweet friend.  I no longer heard the noise that had stopped me from praying and now my body shook with fear as I longed to hear what had happened to my friend.

A few days had passed by and I did not hear a word about or from my loving friend.  I was so worried about him, but in my heart, I knew that he was going to live regardless of what those men had done to him.

One early Sunday morning, as I sat at my kitchen table admiring and adoring the majesty of the Lord, there appeared right before my eyes, my friend.  He was clothed in a long bright white glistering linen cloth and he had a glow as if he had been to heaven.  He knocked at the door and when I opened it, He came in, sat down, and has been here with me ever since that day.

For the Family

Christian Storybooks as told from the heart of a child.

As parents we know the importance of sharing and building a close relationship with our children.  A bond that lasts and a bond that's profound comes from the love and the nurture parents pour into the hearts and lives of their children each and everyday.

Reading to and communicating with our children is a great way to build trust, give hope and bestows a special and unique kind of peace into their lives.  Demonstrating and displaying a constant show of love for our children through hand holding, hugging and with lots and lots of kisses and being the best possible parents we can be, tells and gives our children a real sense of what real love is all about.

Color the Son Christian Storybooks for the Family have been created, designed and written to help families to fill their chests with treasures that lasts a lifetime; memories;  memories that will help children to build a sound and solid foundation for their futures.

Our storybooks are sweet; they are precious tales that are as precious as our children.  We believe that we have written what we believe children feel in their hearts for their mommys and daddys.  We have put in writing, love, hope, peace and joy for every mommy, daddy, girl and boy!
Blessings flow from the Light that illuminates the earth and in our hearts forever flowing within our spirits.  I thank God for the Light that lives and for the love and mercy that provides and supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory.

The power of praising His Holy Name is the strength, and the joy that comes from our relationship with the Father.  To praise Him is to love Him and bless Him.

The power of prayer is the hope and substance of believing and trusting, by faith in Jesus Christ, and the blood He shed on our behalf for all that we desire.

Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.
