Blessing Our Sister,
First Lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama

Your life, ordained by the Lord thy God, is a life filled with love, where angels fly on the wings of a dove. Into your heart, riches flow which can be seen in all that you do and follows you everywhere you go. Because you chose to seek first God’s glorious kingdom, you have been lovingly conformed to His awesome likeness, walking in the Light on the path of righteousness. Your spirit has been nourished by the True Vine, your countenance aglow, into the world you shine.

Your heart is the cup filled with God’s grace and His everlasting mercy, His dominion and power and His never-ending glory. You’re laying a foundation and planting special seeds, God waters for growth for all your heartfelt deeds. The Raise of the Son warms your soul, your mother and father’s love has helped make you whole. Your vision and willingness to help those in need, tells the world to God’s Word you take heed.

Thank you, Michelle, for being you; may the Lord continue to bless all that you do, your heart and your hands, Sasha, Malia, and President Obama, too.

A Scripture Today to Help You Find Your Way

Psalm 95: 1-11
A Call to Praise the Lord

O Come, let us sing unto the Lord:  let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

For he is our God: and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.  Today if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not know my ways:

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
